Barangay San Vicente is a landlocked and the largest barangay in terms of land area in the municipality of Ubay, in the province of Bohol, Philippines. It is also the least densely populated among the barangays with only 19.37 per square kilometer of land.
The barangay's total land area is approximately 4965.8237 hectares[2], with a population of 962[3]as of 2007. In the last 2010 National election, it has 531[4]registered voters.
Barangay San Vicente celebrates its annual fiest every April 5 in honor of their patron saint.

Located on the western part of the municipality, San Vicente is bounded Barangay Imelda to the north. To the south, it is bounded by barangay Biabas, to the east by barangay Cagting and to the west by barangay Imelda and Lomangog. San Vicente has approximate distance 21 km from the town center, Poblacion.
The barangay is situated 425 kilometers southeast (144°) of the approximate center of Philippines and 634 kilometers southeast (145°) of the capital city Manila.
Long time ago, it was called sitio "Ilaya", which a part of Barangay Biabas. One couple lived there named Antonio Pesay, a native boholano and his beautiful wife, Maria Dupit from Iloilo. One day their livestock got sick the couple decided to pray and offer their livestock to Sr. San Vicente Ferrer. And it was then prayer has heard. So they promised that if they will bear a son they would name him after the saint. After that incident the people of sitio Ilaya got sick too. And for the second time they prayed for wellness to Sr. San Vicente Ferrer hoping that if they will be heard. The patron did not failed them. They agreed to have devotion to patron Sr. San Vicente Ferrer. Ilaya was then a sitio of barangay Biabas. , they agreed to change "Ilaya" to sitio San Vicente. So they decided to build a chapel for their for their patron Sr. San Vicente Ferrer. Afterwards, it became a separate barangay and named it San Vicente, after their patron saint. Vicente Dupit became the first barangay captain.
The first infrastructure project of barangay San Vicente was the primary school. It was first headed by Mrs. Rosita Penaso, followed by Mr. Galon and Mrs. Lucia Dupit-Ravanta, a native of barangay San Vicente. It was built after the martial law. In 1966, it became a complete Elementary School with five teacher. The lot was donated by first barangay captain Mr. Vicente Dupit . The present head of the school is Mr. Romeo C. Mariño.
After Vicente Dupit ruled the barangay, Pauleno Felisilda became second barangay captain. His accomplishment are the barangay hall and basketball court. The third barangay captain was Sergio Pesay Sr. who chaired in 1997 but he was killed in middle of his term in 2000. His accomplishment is barangay electrification. Then, first elected councilor replaced him as barangay captain. For him, Teresita Dupalco, the first female and the fourth barangay captain. The fifth and the present barangay captain of San Vicente is Semione Pesay. One his accomplishment is water accessibility.
There are seven puroks or units in the barangay manned by the elected kagawads including the Punong Barangay or Barangay chairman.

People in the barangay are mostly farmers live by planting rice, camote, cassava, banana, and other vegetables. Some have small lots of agricultural land. A portion of population also weaves mats, produce palm oil and coconut products.
The Saint Vincent Ferrer Barangay Chapel is located near the Barangay hall and accessible to its Catholic parishioners and residents.
Roman Catholic, Iglesia ni Cristo, Protestant, Baptist, UCCP and Aglipayan are the common religion of people here.
